Organizations

There are three major youth soccer organizations in the U.S., plus one coaching organization:

U.S. Youth Soccer Association (USYSA)(largest youth soccer organization, with over 3 million players from age 6 through 19; covers entire country through state associations in all 50 states; youth division of U.S. Amateur Soccer, includes high level play through Olympic Development Program (ODP).
American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO)(625,000 registered players, plus 92,000 volunteer coaches, 47,000 referees; emphasis is on participation of all players and recreational play).
Soccer Association For Youth (SAY)(80,000 members).
National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)(youth, high school, college and professional soccer coaches).
