Field Hockey Expert Donna Lee Chung

Donna Lee Chung was a member of the 1988 U.S. Olympic Field Hockey Team and played goalie on five straight national teams, during which she represented the United States at two field hockey World Cup championships (1986, Amstelveen, Netherlands and 1990, Sydney, Australia). In 1987 Donna was a member of the silver medal-winning U.S. team at the Pan-American Games in Indianapolis.

Donna is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she was a two-time First Team All American goalkeeper, holds the all-time save record, and in 2004 was inducted into the school's athletic Hall of Fame.  She was selected to the Big Ten All-Decade Team for the 1980s.

After graduating from Iowa, Donna served as assistant field hockey coach at the University of Michigan and Boston College, then as head coach at Bentley College, before resigning to play in the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. From 1990 to 1995, she was the assistant field coach at Harvard, where she is currently a volunteer assistant and goalkeeping coach.

Since 2004, Donna has been a member of the U.S. national indoor field hockey team and is a two-time silver medalist in the Indoor Pan-American Cup. In addition to coaching, she umpires NCAA Division 2 and 3 field hockey games and is assistant director of the Crimson Field Hockey Camps at Harvard University.

Donna and her husband and son live in the Boston area.
