I was reading the content on your website and came across a commentary by Brooke as follows:
"It's time for moms to shed the label of "soccer mom" and to take a more active role in shaping their children's sports experiences."
Being an experienced and battle-tested soccer mom of two happy well-balanced collegiate student-athletes, I am confused as to the negative tone you imply to the label "soccer mom".
Can you elaborate for me why you consider "soccer moms" as a detrimental reference in general?
Perhaps I am an aberration of the norm, but I have had a fantastic positive journey in my life as a "soccer mom"!
I would really appreciate your clarification. Thanks!
