About Lucy Ferriss
Lucy Ferriss is the author of eight books-most recently the memoir Unveiling the Prophet: The Misadventures of a Reluctant Debutante and the novel Nerves of the Heart,
about a 10-year-old heart transplant recipient who dreams of playing in
the NBA while his parents cope with his condition. Her writing has been
honored with awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the
Fulbright Commission, the Faulkner Society, and others. She is also a
regular contributor to The New York Times. Her books are available on Amazon.com.
Dr.
Ferriss is Writer-in-Residence at Trinity College, a Division III
institution boasting the best squash team in America. She has two sons,
an actor and an athlete, both in college, and lives in West Hartford,
Connecticut.
