Buying Sport Goggles: Make Sure Your Child Likes Them First

Protective eye-wear can prevent nine out of ten eye injuries in sports

Angela Ruggiero talks to optician Noah Shriber of Gordon Optical in Lexington, Massachusetts about the three factors parents should remember when buying protective eye-wear/sports goggles for their child:

  1. Make sure to buy the appropriate eye wear for the sport your child is playing.
  2. Make sure the protective eyewear fits properly (snug but not tight) and allows good peripheral vision; and
  3. Most importantly, buy goggles that your child actually likes.   Sport goggles now come in a variety of colors and shapes to fit every child's needs.
