At no other time have parents needed to choreograph their lives to the split second as they do today. We try to keep track of our busy lives and those of our lives by any and all means possible: desk calendars, PDAs, BlackBerrys, 16 X 20 wall calendars, sticky notes, three-ring binders, and, of course, the good ol' reliable computer. Just thinking about getting our kids to all their activities can be exhausting, unless you learn how to organize, prioritize, plan ahead, and find that often elusive balance between family and sports.
To keep from going crazy and not only survive, but thrive, is a major, major challenge. We are here to help with information, advice, and survival strategies. But we don't have all the answers. That's why we need your help. If you have a tip on how to stay organized, how to deal with the peer pressure from other parents, what you do when you are about to scream "Stop the world, I want to get off," we hope you will share what you have learned with other MomsTeam parents. Please consider writing a blog, contributing an article, posting on and/or hosting a Forum, or becoming our MomsTeam expert on youth parent survival skills. If you know of someone who you think has knowledge to share, ask him or her to join or contact us.
To borrow from the slogan of a national home improvement store, you can do this. We can help.
